Thrust tapered roller bearings

This is our main product. The rolling elements are tapered rollers in a full-complement arrangement. The generatrices of the rollers and of the washer raceways all meet at one point on the bearing axis, so the rollers roll without sliding, and the limiting speed is higher than that of a thrust cylindrical roller bearing.

The bearing gives a very compact axial arrangement. It carries heavy axial loads, is insensitive to shock loads and is rigid. A wear- and oil-resistant friction seal keeps the multi-purpose grease in for the life of the bearing, so it needs no maintenance, and a stainless steel sheet shield holds the outside together.

The shaft washer and housing washer are precision forged. We developed this process together with the FAW Technical Center, and it is a patented result. Forging keeps the metal fibre flow of the washers continuous and reduces stress concentration, which raises the strength of the washers and increases the contact area between the rollers and the raceways, for a longer service life.
